Q: Do I need to bring my insurance card to every visit?
A: Yes, your insurance card is needed to keep your account up to date
and accurate.

Q: Will I need a referral if the doctor sends my child to see a specialist?
A: Each insurance policy has different requirements. Please contact
your insurance company for more information. If your insurance plan
requires a referral, you may call our office to request a referral or click
here to fill out our online form.

Q: What if I will miss my appointment?
A: We request notice by noon on the day preceding the appointment.  
Missed appointments, without prior notification, will result in a $25
missed appointment fee.  Please contact our office if you cannot keep
your appointment. Our office staff will assist you with rescheduling if
necessary.

Q: What if I am going to be late for my appointment?
A: We request that you plan to arrive 15 minutes before your
appointment, so that your child is in the room and ready for the provider
for the scheduled appointment time. Please contact our office if you are
going to be late. Our office staff will assist you with rescheduling if
necessary.

Q: Will there be a copay for every visit?
A: Depending on your insurance, a copayment may be required. You
may contact your insurance company to check if your plan requires that
we collect a copayment. To avoid an administration fee, please be
prepared to pay your copay at the time of the visit.

Q: What should I do if my child is admitted to the hospital?
A: You should contact your insurance company within 24 hours.

Q: Why is it important that Dr. Maruvada from Kids Way Clinic to be
listed as my primary care physician (PCP)?
A: If your insurance requires a PCP and Dr. Maruvada is not listed, this
may result in the charges being denied by your insurance carrier and
you being responsible for the charges for all dates of service.
